Michelle T. Summers is a dance scholar, educator, and practitioner currently located in Northwest Arkansas. Most recently she was a lecturer in the Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies at UC Berkeley and the performances studies scholar in residence at the Center for Art and Religion at the Graduate Theological Union. She holds a Ph.D. in Critical Dance Studies from UC Riverside, an M.A. in Performance Studies from New York University, and a B.F.A. in Ballet and B.A. in English from Texas Christian University.
